About the project

rentacrate.gr rents reusable moving crates for homes and businesses: over its service life, each crate replaces up to 450 single-use cardboard boxes. Sensis Media has built its digital infrastructure from the ground up: three platform generations within a year.

Every crate carries a unique identifier and a QR code. Every event in its life (delivery, collection, wash, new cycle) is written to a public append-only registry where each record commits cryptographically (SHA-256) to the previous one. The head of the registry is anchored in a transaction on the Sui mainnet public blockchain, so that no one, not even the operator, can rewrite the recorded past without detection.

This made rentacrate.gr the first Greek business with an application in production on Sui mainnet, and the first on-chain traceability deployment in a Greek circular-economy service. Sustainability there is not advertised: it is measured publicly, crate by crate, from the same registry that is sealed on chain.
